PODs are available for customers to retrieve via our online portal with their confidential customer login.

Sims Group provide a full Nationwide and European service for the delivery of palletised goods, either directly using our own fleet or through our association with Palletline. Palletline gives us access to the services of over 100 other depots strategically placed throughout the UK, meaning we can ensure a fast and reliable daily service that is cost effective.
How the Network Works
Once your goods are collected, they are brought back to our depot loaded onto one of our state-of-the-art double deck trunking vehicles for onward shipping to the Palletline central hub, or any of their regional hubs as required whereby they are unloaded, sorted and then re-loaded out onto outbound trucks for final delivery.
Online Booking/Tracking Portal
All of our customers can have access to our online booking system. Our in house system allows you to chose which level of service you require, the type of collection/delivery the job needs and pallet descriptions – quarter, half or full pallet. You can also book hazardous consignments via the portal. Customers are also able to then track their consignment and view POD’s online in real-time.
Most major parcel companies won’t accept any liquid consignments or ADR parcels of any kind due to the rigours of their package handling facilities and expert knowledge needed in the handling of these temperamental packages.
This is a service which we at Sims Group can provide through our membership with special handling network, Hazchem. Thus providing these smaller consignments the individual care and attention they require.
