The value isn't any single leg, it's that one team owns all of them. Our in-house customs team handles the declarations on the same shipment we're forwarding, so there's no hand-off to a third-party broker and no gap in the chain. Incoterms: knowing who carries the risk

Every international shipment runs on an Incoterm (the international rule that sets who is responsible for cost, insurance and customs at each stage, such as EXW or DDP). Choosing the right one matters, and getting it wrong is expensive. Tell us about your shipment and we'll advise on the term that fits.

Do I need a freight forwarder?

If you're moving goods internationally and would rather not manage the carriers, customs and documentation yourself, yes. A forwarder handles the coordination, so you deal with one team instead of several. For a single domestic pallet you probably don't need one, and we'll tell you so.

What does a freight forwarder actually do?

We organise the movement of your goods: plan the route and mode, book the carriers, manage the customs and oversee the shipment from collection to delivery. We arrange the journey, with one named contact accountable for the whole thing, even on a leg we don't drive ourselves.

Do you handle customs as well as forwarding?

What’s the difference between a forwarder and a carrier?

A carrier physically moves the goods on one leg; a forwarder plans and coordinates the whole journey, which may use several carriers and modes.

What modes can you arrange?

What are Incoterms and which should I use?
