Palletised distribution
Palletised distribution and pallet delivery across the UK
We deliver palletised goods across the UK, next day, through Palletline, the UK pallet network of 93 depots. Your pallets are collected on our own fleet and tracked all the way, and you get a dedicated contact who knows your account, the same person each time, so a smaller shipper still gets looked after.
Powered by the Palletline network
We're a member of Palletline, the UK pallet network of 93 depots, and it's member-owned: every depot has a stake, which is why the standards hold up. Your pallet is collected locally, trunked overnight to a Palletline hub on our double-deck vehicles, sorted, and delivered by the member nearest its destination. That's how a single pallet reaches anywhere in the country by the next working day.
It also means we're a direct member, not a broker reselling someone else's network. We collect your freight ourselves, so there's one company accountable from collection to delivery.
Single pallets to full loads
You only pay for the space you use:
- Full pallet: up to 1.2m × 1.0m footprint, up to 1.8m high, up to 1,200kg
Oversized or overweight pallets can be carried by arrangement, just tell us what you've got.
Service levels to suit the job
- Next day: collected today, delivered the next working day to most UK postcodes, between 10am and 5pm. Timed and pre-10am deliveries available at a surcharge.
- Economy: collected today, delivered within 48 hours (72 hours for the Scottish Highlands, Ireland and the Islands), at a lower rate.
- Timed and tail-lift: specific delivery windows, and tail-lift delivery for sites without a loading bay (up to 750kg, or 1,000kg with lift assist).
Two things worth knowing: deliveries are kerbside, and over a bank holiday a Friday next-day booking arrives the following Tuesday. Tell us the postcode and we'll confirm the timing.
Track every pallet, with proof of delivery
You get live tracking and proof of delivery (POD) via the My Sims portal, plus a two-hour delivery window alert by text or email on the day. Book online, see where your consignment is, and pull the POD once it's delivered, without ringing the depot.

Moving hazardous goods on pallets?
We carry ADR (dangerous goods) consignments on pallets too, through the Hazchem network, specialist handling that mainstream pallet networks don't offer. See our hazardous freight transport service. Need a full trailer rather than the network? See our road haulage service. Need your pallets stored before or after delivery? See our warehousing and 3PL service. Need to deliver into an Amazon fulfilment centre, or move pallets into Europe? See our Amazon FBA and e-commerce logistics and European road freight services.
What our customers say
By far the best choice I made for my company’s distribution needs. Exceptional customer service through an extremely friendly and reliable team. Great rates and service from collection to delivery.
Questions, answered
- What is palletised distribution?
Loading your goods onto pallets and delivering them through a shared network, so you pay for the pallet space you use instead of booking a whole vehicle. It's the efficient way to move individual pallets or several at once without booking a whole vehicle.
- How does a pallet network work?
Your pallet is collected locally, trunked overnight to a central hub, sorted, then delivered by the network member nearest the destination. It's how next-day nationwide delivery works without every haulier driving the length of the country.
- What pallet sizes can I send?
Full pallets up to 1.8m high and up to 1,200kg, on a 1.2m × 1.0m base. Oversized loads by arrangement.
- What’s the difference between next-day and economy?
Next day is collected today and delivered the next working day. Economy is delivered within 48 hours (72 for the Highlands, Ireland and Islands) at a lower rate.
- Can I track my pallet and get proof of delivery?
Yes. Track it live through the My Sims portal and pull the POD once delivered, with a two-hour ETA alert on the day.
- Can you deliver to a residential address?
Yes, kerbside, with tail-lift if the site has no loading bay. Tell us the postcode and we'll confirm.
- Can you move hazardous goods on pallets?
Yes, ADR consignments through the Hazchem network. See our hazardous freight transport service.
- Can I send a pallet to Europe?
Yes, through our European road freight service, which runs scheduled routes across all European countries.
