Chemicals and industrial
Flammables, corrosives, oxidisers, cleaning products, paints, automotive fluids. Our core hazardous work.
Hazardous and ADR logistics
We've been ADR (the regulations for carrying dangerous goods by road) specialists since 1973. We move the freight most carriers won't touch, the whole way: collection, UK and European delivery, customs and emergency response, handled by one team who knows your account.

Hazardous logistics, end to end
Moving dangerous goods isn't only about the truck. It's classification, the right paperwork, ADR-qualified drivers, the European leg, customs at the border, and someone to call if something goes wrong. A carrier that only does the carriage refers you elsewhere for the rest.
We do the whole journey. Your dangerous goods are collected, carried across the UK or into Europe, cleared through customs by our own team, and backed by emergency response on every load. One company and one contact, so the compliance risk stays with us, not spread across your desk and two other providers.
ADR logistics across the UK and Europe
Our drivers are ADR specialists since 1973, qualified to carry dangerous goods nationally and across Europe. For European loads we run daily routes across all European countries, carrying ADR freight on the same lanes as our general European service, with our in-house customs team handling the border paperwork.
In the UK, your freight moves on our own fleet or across Palletline, the UK pallet network of 93 depots, for next-day delivery. For longer hauls see our European road freight service. For how we carry it day to day, our fleet, the Hazchem network and booking, see our hazardous freight transport page and palletised distribution service.
The dangerous goods we move
We don't carry Class 1 explosives or Class 7 radioactive material. Not sure how your goods are classified? Tell us what they are and we'll help you work it out. For part loads, ADR liquids and how we book and carry each consignment, see our hazardous freight transport page.
Chemical, pharmaceutical and battery logistics
Flammables, corrosives, oxidisers, cleaning products, paints, automotive fluids. Our core hazardous work.
Ambient road transport of regulated and ADR pharma freight across the UK and Europe.
Lithium-ion batteries (Class 9, UN 3480 and UN 3481) carried by road, with the watt-hour and quantity rules handled.
Hazardous components and inputs moved to keep your production line supplied, including JIT (Just In Time) European runs.
Emergency response (HERS)
Every hazardous load we move is covered by HERS (the Hazchem emergency response service): 24-hour specialist incident support in transit, with expert chemists on one number and a clean-up team if it's ever needed. For how this works on the road, see our hazardous freight transport page.
Customs and cross-border
Moving hazardous freight into Europe means clearing it too. Our in-house customs team handles the export declarations, documentation and EORI (your customs ID for moving goods in or out of the UK) requirements alongside the ADR paperwork, working with our European partners for destination-country clearance. See our customs clearance service.

Questions
A specialist carries dangerous goods with ADR-qualified drivers on suitable, placarded vehicles, checks classification and documentation before moving, and carries emergency response. If your goods have a UN number, a standard carrier either won't take them or risks a non-compliant, unsafe move.
