Why delivering through an Amazon-approved network matters

Amazon doesn't make it easy to deliver into a fulfilment centre. Every load needs a booked appointment, the right references and exact labelling, or it's turned away at the gate and your account takes the hit.

We deliver through Palletline, the pallet network selected for Amazon's inbound carrier programme, which means fixed delivery slots into Amazon sites and a process built around Amazon's rules. We book the delivery appointment in Amazon's Carrier Central for you and deliver to it, so your stock gets received instead of rejected.

To be clear about the jargon: you stay in control in Seller Central, and we're what Amazon calls a non-partnered carrier, the carrier you choose yourself rather than Amazon's own buy-rate option. You get a haulier who knows the inbound process and handles the booking, not just a truck.

How it works

1. Tell us what's shipping. Pallet count, weight, the destination fulfilment centre, and your Amazon shipment reference.

2. We collect and book it in. We collect from your supplier, unit or port, check the load is fulfilment-centre ready, and book the delivery appointment in Carrier Central.

3. We deliver and confirm. We deliver inside the booked slot and send you proof of delivery (POD). Track the consignment and pull the POD from the My Sims portal, with a two-hour delivery window on the day.

What we deliver into Amazon

We carry every inbound size, from a single pallet to a full trailer:

Small parcel delivery (SPD): individual boxes for smaller or mixed shipments
Pallet freight (less-than-truckload, LTL): part-load palletised stock, the typical FBA delivery
Full loads (full-truckload, FTL): a dedicated trailer when you're moving volume

Getting your pallets fulfilment-centre ready

Amazon rejects deliveries that don't meet its rules. Here's what a compliant FBA pallet needs:

A standard 4-way wooden pallet, 1200 × 1000mm, in good condition (plastic pallets aren't accepted)
Maximum height 1.8m including the pallet (we'd keep it under 1.7m to be safe), up to around 1,000kg
Transparent shrink wrap, so labels stay visible (Amazon rejects opaque or coloured wrap)
An FNSKU (Amazon's per-product barcode) on every unit
An FBA box ID label on each carton, flat on a side
Correct box content information filed in Seller Central. Wrong or missing box content is a frequent cause of chargebacks, so we'll sanity-check the physical labelling at collection and flag anything that looks off.
