It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our much loved and respected driver Alvar Burton Fitch who died peacefully on 22nd Aug.
Loved by all colleagues and customers of Sims, he really was a true gentleman. Always immaculately dressed with a shirt, tie and that infectious smile come rain or shine. Alvar truly had a real passion for trucks which he proudly displayed through the beautiful restoration projects of vintage Bedford trucks along with his son Garry.
We feel truly blessed that he chose to work at Sims.
May he rest forever in peace.
